Confirmation

A quick Chinese dinner and then dropped M & E at dance rehearsal and we went to the church. Frances's confirmation was a nice ceremony. Then I dropped her off at dance rehearsal and visited a bit longer with Mom, A and J.

Dance Recital

Recital over for another year. We are such old pros at this, yet this year we forgot or lost so many costume pieces. 8 costumes, 11 pairs of shoes. If S joins again next year, they'll be even more to keep track of. It was fun. I enjoyed watching both nights and not working backstage.

A house that was moved. This is the lot I once considered buying. Excellent location, but they tore out the whole hill to site house.

E's birthday party. She hates to have her photo taken. She asked for fruit pizza as her birthday cake.

Our new deck is finished. I want to grow grapes and climbing roses and clematis on it. Two of the photos are of the duplexes being built below us. All the houses look almost identical and I don't know who would buy the ones going in directly behind us.

Spring Break

Spring break
Yesterday was the first day of spring break. We went ice skating and a bit of shopping. Today L was off to speech contest early and everyone else slept late. E worked a lot on her science fair display yesterday and she's off to a movie now. I put a roast in the crock pot and made cookie dough. Cleaned the basement stairs, which needed it. One more area of the house cleaned. I took down the remainder of Xmas and Chinese New Year decorations and put up Easter. Rainy and gloomy all day. Went down to the library where E loaded up and the girls played the nutrition games.

I've drank a lot of tea and read a book. A quiet day.
